Editorial Mar Caribe (EMC) , a private entity sponsored by non-governmental institutions, was launched in November 2021 by mathematician and chemist Josefrank Pernalete Lugo with the support of Venezuelan intellectuals in Lima, Colonia del Sacramento, and Buenos Aires, with the sole purpose of uniting and creating connections between all researchers in Latin America and the Caribbean, regardless of their role, specialty, boundaries, hierarchy, or educational level. EMC has been publishing continuously since 2022, with a scientific and interdisciplinary nature, providing new sources of information, access to research, and the ability to share experiences and knowledge quickly and up-to-date in all areas of knowledge. The publisher has taken care of every detail in its publication, turning it into a reliable and open database for its readers. The digital documents in our repository are a resource that provides countless advantages and benefits, if used appropriately, among the countless rigorous, reliable, up-to-date, and authentic books.
The EMC’s main functions are to promote open access to research, teaching, and the dissemination and dissemination of interdisciplinary work, in partnership with Latin American universities. Among its objectives is constant renewal and transformation in response to the expectations the region places on our society, as well as the demands that academic societies currently impose on the globalization of knowledge, the exchange of knowledge, inclusiveness, and the current challenges of research with a holistic and intercultural approach.
Editorial Mar Caribe was born with the conception of opening a scientific space for new and qualified researchers in all areas of knowledge, but with an emphasis on the essence of the Latin American thinker and one that adapts to the professional profile that today’s University needs, with educational, intellectual, and cultural policies for the collective of 21st-century authors.
Editorial Mar Caribe is currently the free and open publication space of the Latin American Academy, dedicated to the study of societies in the South through high-level research by its authors, the training of specialized researchers, and the dissemination and promotion of scientific knowledge. Today, EMC is one of the leading publishing houses in the era of postmodernism, a fundamentally cultural and philosophical movement that has resulted in the conception of a new set of paradigms since its inception. Since then, it has published numerous original research projects and systematic studies, as well as scientific and historical works and documents on the region. It is supported by an ideological and cultural Editorial Committee , with a human dimension, and with ethics and deontology applied to the editorial processes.
