Mission, vision, objectives and scope
Mission
Editorial Mar Caribe (EMC) is an organization that continuously publishes peer-reviewed books using a double-blind method, promoting the interdisciplinary nature of its authors. This activity has been carried out with the support of non-governmental institutions since November 21, 2021, without interruption. EMC presents books considered innovative, with a declaration of originality, reflecting the direct opinions of the authors and not necessarily those of the editorial board. Its main objective is to publish research results conducted by academics from public and/or private universities, thus supporting scientific advancement. It also welcomes independent researchers, regardless of their qualifications in the national science system of their country of origin.
Vision
To be a national and international benchmark in the publication of interdisciplinary works in Latin America and the Caribbean, maintaining high standards of quality and methodological rigor. The publisher is aimed at researchers, teachers, students, and academic audiences at various levels, as well as the scientific community in general and those involved in educational activities.
Goals
The scientific evaluation of research at Editorial Mar Caribe aims to disseminate scientific and technical knowledge through original results and research products that promote the development of science and technology. These include papers, calculation reports, and theoretical reflections that, due to their sociocultural context, merit publication, contributing to the visibility of intellectual creativity within an interdisciplinary framework.
Scope
The aim is to guarantee the quality, objectivity, and ethics of the publication of books resulting from research. These books are evaluated by external double-blind peer reviewers affiliated with public universities and considered experts in the topics addressed in the documents under review. The books are published under an open access model, free of embargoes or membership fees for both readers and authors, in order to contribute to bridging the digital divide among Ibero-American countries.
